Amidst a cluster of synthetic fabric dyeing factories on the outskirts of Kathmandu, one small group is returning to biodegradable solutions. Their hand-loom, natural fiber and vegetable dye offerings have attracted a wave of social enterprises that are genuinely dedicated to the life-cycle sustainability of their products, from how the raw materials are gathered all the way to the eventual landfill.
